Getting a college education is not anymore difficult to come by in Janiuay. It would entail less expense on the part of the students as compared to getting an education in the city. So, students from the neighboring towns of Cabatuan, Maasin, Badiangan and Mina flock to West Visayas State University-Janiuay Campus to get a good education on low matriculation. To date, Janiuay has 1 state college, 5 public secondary schools, 22 public elementary schools, 15 public primary schools, 2 public pre-schools, and 50 day care centers. It has also privately-run learning institutions: 1 college, 3 secondary schools, 3 elementary schools, and 5 pre-schools.
